0.5 PDU Ways of Working & 0.5 PDU Power SkillsThe webinar, lasting 60 minutes, is the fourth of the series of events that will accompany us throughout 2023 and which aims, through the experiences of professionals in the sector, to illustrate the figure of the Project Manager to the youngest audience of the PMI -SIC and to those who want to get closer to this world, in all its aspects. This time we will have Jim Boland as a speaker who will talk to us about the Project Manager necessity to go beyond the classical triple constraint tringle.
In this fast paced and ever evolving world, the role of the Project Manager has changed and is becoming ever more critical in being change agents and leading from the front. Traditional project management skills including the ability to pick and choose the appropriate work practices for your situation provide the foundation blocks, however, to be truly successful in today environment our best Project Managers will excel beyond managing a finite scope or budget and will flourish in a world of uncertainty and ambiguity.
Speaker:
Jim Boland. As former CIO, Jim has 25+ years experience across multiple industries. He helped grow a small start-up into a successful multinational organization. Jim has strong client and people leadership skills having managed large cross-functional teams in excess of 500 people. He has held several leadership roles across IT and Project and Program Management. Jim has written and contributed to multiple thought leader publications and is currently the leader of IBMs Global Project Management Center of Excellence and represents IBM on PMI’s Global Executive Council.

Participation in the event allows you to get 0.5 PDU Ways of Working and 0.5 PDU Power Skills useful to the purpose of maintaining the certifications issued by the PMI. Participation is open to all and free, upon registration through the relevant link on the PMI Southern Italy Chapter website. Registration of PDUs will take place automatically within 3 weeks since the end of the event and upon correct completion of the PMI ID field when registering for the event. Please, pay particular attention to the compilation of the PMI member ID field, which can always be modified in your user profile, as it is optional.
ATTENTION: it is also possible to follow the webinar exclusively in audio by telephone connection, but in this case the PDUs cannot be recognized as the technological platform does not track participation. The PDUs will be assigned only to those who follow the webinar for at least half of its duration.
