He now provides leadership for the Development Uni t activities at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midw est in Ireland. Padraic's role includes management of the Development Unit based in Thurles as well as the promotion of appropriate opportunities fo r collaboration with external organisations in development projects within the catchment area of the TU and nationally. This work involves identifyi ng\, disseminating and advising on national\, EU and international project funding opportunities across the Institute as well as helping to provide opportunities for post-graduate researchers on research and development pr ojects being implemented from within the Development Unit. Padraic holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Project Manag ement\, both from the University of Limerick.\n\n\n---\n\n\nParticipation in the event allows you to acquire 0.5 PDU Ways of Working and 0.5 PDU Bus iness Acumen type valid for the purposes of maintaining the certifications issued by the PMI.
